Our Home 2 years ago First Before/After from New Home
This project feels like it has turned around in the blink of an eye in comparison to our past house renovations.
With that said, it’s important to note that the house is definitely not 100% done. We are still living without a couch, coffee table and barstools. Not a big deal, but just wanted to let you know we’ll have some time before we do a full reveal. I did, however, want to share this little peek at the fireplace area that we redid.
The “before” tiles and built in cabinets weren’t really our style. I wanted something a bit more bright and airy so we selected this fresh marble as an alternative option. I am thrilled with the way the built-in cabinets turned out. We’re still waiting on library lights for the top and need to fully accessorize, but I wanted to share this little progress photo.
I’m also most excited about the beautiful pair of Danish Cabinetmaker 1940s lounge chairs in the manner of Flemming Lassen that we sourced from Dagmar. I ordered these puppies over a month ago and I have never been more excited about a set of chairs in my life.
The paint color we used on the cabinets and in our kitchen is Farrow and Ball Shaded White No. 201.
